وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّقَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزَاةٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فِيهِ وَالَّذِي تَدْعُونَهُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ عُنُقِ رَاحِلَةِ أَحَدِكُمْ وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ ذِكْرُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.
It was narrated that Abu Musa said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) on a campaign..." and he mentioned the Hadith and said in it: "...The One Whom you are calling is closer to one of you than the neck of his mount." And there is no mention in his (the sub narrator's) Hadith of (the phrase): "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah)."
