It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: "The Fire and Paradise disputed. The Fire said: 'I have been favored with the arrogant and proud.' Paradise said: 'What is the matter with me, that no one will enter me except the weak, humble and downtrodden?' Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said to Paradise: 'You are My mercy, by which I will show mercy to whomsoever I will of My slaves.' And He said to the Fire: 'You are My punishment, with which I will punish whomsoever I will of My slaves. And each of you will be full.' As for the Fire, it will not be full until He puts His Foot on it and it says: 'Enough, enough.' Then it will be full, and all its parts will be integrated together."
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
Sahih Bukhari
