Sahih Muslim Book - 53, Hadith - 7481
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ - يَعْنِى ابْنَ مُضَرَ - عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ يَنْزِلُ بِهَا فِى النَّارِ أَبْعَدَ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ ».
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that he heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: "A person may say a word for which he will be sent down into the Fire, further than the distance between the east and the west."
