It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "I was with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) on a journey, and we came to a crossing place. He said: 'Won't you cross it, O Jabir?' I said: 'Of course.' The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) dismounted and I crossed it. Then he went and relieved himself, and I set out his water for Wudu'. He came and performed Wudu ', then he stood and prayed wearing a single garment with its ends on his shoulders. I stood behind him, and he took hold of my ear and made me stand on his right.''
