Surah 18. Al-Kahf, Ayah 97
فَمَا ٱسْطَـٰعُوٓا۟ أَن يَظْهَرُوهُ وَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ لَهُۥ نَقْبًا
Fam a is ta AAoo an ya th haroohu wam a ista ta AAoo lahu naqb a n And thus [the rampart was built, and] their enemies98 were unable to scale it, and neither were they able to pierce it.

This became such a barrier that Gog and Magog could not scale it or to dig through it.
