ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Thullatun mina alawwaleen a
a good many of olden times,
  - Mohammad Asad
Many of them will be from the former
  - Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malik
'who will be' a multitude from earlier generations
  - Mustafa Khattab
A multitude of those of old
  - Marmaduke Pickthall
A (goodly) number from those of old 5241

This class-the righteous-will be a large company in Heaven, belonging to all the ages of the world. Cf. n. 5228 to lvi. 13 above. Such is the unbounded Bounty of Allah.
