Sahih Muslim Book - 12, Hadith - 2342

وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « مَا تَصَدَّقَ أَحَدٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ مِنْ طَيِّبٍ - وَلاَ يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ الطَّيِّبَ - إِلاَّ أَخَذَهَا الرَّحْمَنُ بِيَمِينِهِ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ تَمْرَةً فَتَرْبُو فِى كَفِّ الرَّحْمَنِ حَتَّى تَكُونَ أَعْظَمَ مِنَ الْجَبَلِ كَمَا يُرَبِّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلُوَّهُ أَوْ فَصِيلَهُ ».

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that Messenger of Allah (SAW) has said: ‘No one gives charity earned from a good (Tayyib) source – And Allah does not accept anything but that which is good (Tayyib) – but the most Merciful takes it in His Right hand – even it is a date- and it is tended in the Hand of the Most Merciful until it becomes bigger than mountain, as one of you tends to colt or young camel’.”
