It was narrated that Abu Bakar said: “I heard Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with them] speaking, and one of the things he said was: ‘If dawn comes when a person is junub, he should not fast.’ I mentioned that to ‘Abdur-Rehman bin Al-Harith – to his father – and he denied that. ‘Abdur Rehman set off, and I set off with him, and we entered upon ‘Aishah and Umm Salamah, May Allah be pleased with them both. ‘Abdur Rehman asked them about that and they both said: ‘The Prophet would be junub in the morning, not as a result of a wet dream, and then he would fast.’ We went and entered upon Marwan, and ‘Abdur Rehman mentioned that to him. Marwan said: ‘I urge you to go to Abu Hurairah and prove to him that he was wrong.’ We went to Abu Hurairah, and Abu Bakar was present throughout all that. ‘Abdur Rehman told him that and Abu Hurairah said: ‘Did they tell you that?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘They know better.’” “Then Abu Hurairah attributed what he used to say concerning that to Al-Fadi bin ‘Abba, and Abu Hurairah said: ‘That is from Al-Fadl; I did not hear it from the Prophet (SAW).’ So Abu Hurairah retracted what he used to say on this issue.” I said to Abdul-Malik: ‘Did they say that with regard to Ramadan? “He said: “Yes, he used to wakeup Junub without that being the result of wet dream, then he would fast.”
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
Sahih Bukhari
