حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِىٍّ الْجَهْضَمِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ - يَعْنِى ابْنَ مُفَضَّلٍ - عَنْ أَبِى مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِى نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ كُنَّا نُسَافِرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى رَمَضَانَ فَمَا يُعَابُ عَلَى الصَّائِمِ صَوْمُهُ وَلاَ عَلَى الْمُفْطِرِ إِفْطَارُهُ.
It was narrated that Abu Saeed Al-Khudri [may Allah be pleased with them] said: “we were travelling with the Messenger of Allah (SAW) in Ramadan, and those who were fasting were not criticized for that, and those who were not fasting were not criticized for that.”
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."

"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."

"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
