Sahih Muslim Book - 44, Hadith - 6426
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ بَحْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا أُسَيْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: خَيْرُ الأَنْصَارِ ، أَوْ خَيْرُ دُورِ الأَنْصَارِ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمْ ، فِي ذِكْرِ الدُّورِ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قِصَّةَ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
Abu Usaid Al-Ansari narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: "The best of the Ansar," or; "the best clans of the Ansar," a similar Hadith about the clan (as no. 6425), but he did not mention the story of Sa'd bin 'Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him).
