ٱلَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَـٰمًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَـٰذَا بَـٰطِلًا سُبْحَـٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ Qur’an Aal-Imran (3:191)Alla th eena ya th kuroona All a ha qiy a man waquAAoodan waAAal a junoobihim wayatafakkaroona fee khalqi a l ssam a w a ti wa a lar d i rabban a m a khalaqta h atha b at ilan sub ha naka faqin a AAa tha ba a l nn a r i
Lit., "and [lying] on their sides".

That is, in all postures, which again is symbolical of all circumstances, personal, social, economic, historical and other.
It is the thought of Salvation that connects all these glories with man. Otherwise man would be a miserable, contemptible creature in these beauties and wonders of Nature. With his high destiny of Salvation he can be lifted even higher than these glories!
