Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf, Ayah 56

فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِّلْـَٔاخِرِينَ

FajaAAaln a hum salafan wamathalan lil a khireen a

and so We made them a thing of the past, and an example to those who would come after them.
