Surah 68. Al-Qalam, Ayah 33

كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْعَذَابُ ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ Qur’an Al-Qalam (68:33)

Ka tha lika alAAa tha bu walaAAa tha bu al a khirati akbaru law k a noo yaAAlamoon a

SUCH is the suffering [with which We try some people in this world];¹⁶ but greater by far will be the suffering [which sinners shall have to bear] in the life to come - if they but knew it!
