خَـٰشِعَةً أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۖ وَقَدْ كَانُوا۟ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَـٰلِمُونَ Qur’an Al-Qalam (68:43)Kh a shiAAatan ab sa ruhum tarhaquhum th illatun waqad k a noo yudAAawna il a a l ssujoodi wahum s a limoon a
Their past memories, combined with their present position, will then fill them with a sense of the deepest dismay and humiliation. See last note.
