whereupon unto those who have attained to faith and wrought good works We shall most certainly assign mansions in that paradise through which run-ning waters flow, therein to abide: how excellent a reward for those who labour-

Those who embrace true faith and do good deeds shall be lodged in the mansions of paradise beneath which the rivers flow, to live therein forever. What an excellent reward for the doers of good deeds;

'As for' those who believe and do good, We will certainly house them in 'elevated' mansions in Paradise, under which rivers flow, to stay there forever. How excellent is the reward for those who work 'righteousness!'-

Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers,.

But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness to them shall We give a Home in Heaven lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers--to dwell therein for aye; an excellent reward for those who do (good)! 3491

The goodly homes mentioned in xvi. 41 referred to this life, but it was stated there that the reward of the Hereafter would be greater. Here the simile of the Home is referred to Heaven: it will be beautiful; it will be picturesque, with the sight and sound of softly-murmuring streams; it will be lofty or sublime; and it will be eternal.
