Surah 26. Ash-Shuara, Ayah 211
وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَQur’an Ash-Shuara (26:211)Wama yanbaghee lahum wama yastateeAAoona
for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]:

Mohammad Asadit is neither in their interest nor in their power to produce such a masterpiece.
- Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malik
Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malikit is not for them 'to do so', nor can they,

Mustafa KhattabIt is not meet for them, nor is it in their power,
- Marmaduke Pickthall
Marmaduke PickthallIt would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it).
